曼城英摇迷必朝圣！探店 Oasis《Definitely Maybe》专辑御用设计师店面「Microdot」

英国设计师 Brian Cannon 于1990年创立品牌「Microdot」，以创作出众多90年代英摇着名专辑封面而闻名，英摇御用其中最具知名度的朝圣作品为 Oasis《Definitely Maybe》（1994）、《(What’s The探店 Story) Morning Glory》（1995）与《Be Here Now》（1997），包办了当时乐团的专辑单曲、专辑封面设计，设计师店以及北爱尔兰乐团 Ash 经典专辑《1977》（1996）、曼城迷必面另类摇滚乐团 The英摇御用 Verve 具标誌性的专辑《Urban Hymns》（1997）等封面，并曾参与 Suede、朝圣Cast、探店Super Furry Animals 等乐团作品。专辑

2019年 Brian Cannon 在英国肯德尔（Kendal）开设 Microdot 首家实体店面，与其他音乐周边商店不同在于，曼城迷必面Microdot 所有商品皆是英摇御用自家公司创作，当然也由乐团们所委託设计。朝圣去年，他们选择在过往的英伦摇滚重镇，同时为 Oasis、Joy Division、The Smiths 等乐团崛起的城市——曼彻斯特（Manchester）开设第二家分店，别具意义。这一次探店的是位在曼城国王街（King Street）的「Microdot Manchester」，空间虽不及肯德尔门市大，但国王街是当地核心的商业街道，对旅客来说交通便捷且环境舒适，非常推荐来到曼城的摇滚乐迷前往朝圣。

Microdot 主要贩售乐团专辑封面、LOGO、照片等印刷商品，以 Oasis 作品为大宗，再来是 The Verve，亦有贩售乐团 LOGO T-Shirt 与黑胶。最热门的封面商品有各式尺寸，可以选择是否需要裱框；比较特别的有 Brian Cannon 手绘版本的《Definitely Maybe》、《(What’s The Story) Morning Glory》等经典封面，备注有各项设计注释；而大多数商品皆有 Brian Cannon 亲笔签名，相当值得珍藏。

若为轻便旅行，推荐好入手的小型印刷商品，一张约25至35英镑不等，但店面库存不如网路商城齐全，建议看到想要的就赶紧购入。还有来到曼城店绝对要朝圣镇店之宝：「《Definitely Maybe》专辑封面里的壁炉本炉（非贩售商品）」，不来踩点一下怎么对得起自己呢？

另外同条国王街上，设有 Oasis 乐团主唱 Liam Gallagher 自创服装品牌「Pretty Green」门市，品牌取名自英国庞克乐团 The Jam 的歌曲，并时常与各式音乐活动合作或联名，至今都有绿洲迷会全身穿着 Pretty Green 前往 Liam Gallagher 的演唱会朝圣。而店面处处可见摇滚元素，一进门便是改作自 John Lennon 与 Yoko Ono 知名的「WAR IS OVER？」合照灯箱，和以 The Beatles、Joy Division、The Stone Roses 等乐团为创作概念的挂画装饰。既然来了，不如入手一件 Liam Gallagher 演出时必备的同款外套吧！
